Mission Statement

The United Citizens Action Network [U-CAN] is a grass-roots  organization working for fair treatment protecting property and environmental rights from abuse.

United Citizens Action Network was formed by Minnesota property owners who have experienced prejudicial treatment in the legal processes used to confiscate our lands for wholesale energy export.

Some of our members are currently involved in condemnation proceedings for the MinnCan Project, and are awaiting Court of Appeals action on issues of inadequate notice, inadequate environmental review, and regulatory bias. Many are now faced with another threat from the

CapX 2020 Application to build super-high voltage transmission lines across the same properties to facilitate regional, wholesale power transactions.
